1. Using the game

We permit you to install and play the game for personal, non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these terms, the applicable store terms and applicable law. This permission does not transfer ownership of the game or its assets.

Use of the game constitutes acceptance of these terms only to the extent that acceptance is valid under applicable law. If you do not accept them, you should not use the game. If you are below the age at which you can agree to these terms in your country, a parent or guardian should review them and authorize your use where required.

2. Children and guardians

The intended audience includes children under 13 and older players. Parents and guardians should review the game's content, store rating, privacy policy and available device controls. A child does not need to send us a real name, email address or Google password to play locally.

Optional online services may require an eligible account, parental approval or other protections under applicable law and the provider's rules. These terms do not substitute for legally required parental consent. Contact us with questions about your child's use.

3. Progress, device saves and cloud saves

The game stores progress on your device. Clearing app data, uninstalling, losing a device, storage failure or an interrupted write may remove or damage local progress.

When enabled and available, Google Play Games Saved Games can back up and restore progress for a connected, eligible profile. Internet access and a successful upload are required. A pending or failed backup is not confirmation that your progress has reached the cloud. Restore requires access to the same profile and a compatible saved game.

If device and cloud saves differ, a choice may be needed before one replaces the other. Review that choice carefully. We cannot promise that every lost or damaged save can be recovered. We aim to preserve progress across compatible updates; technical or service limits may affect migration and restoration.

You may continue local gameplay without connecting cloud services. Google controls its account eligibility, authentication and service availability. Your internet provider may charge for mobile data.

4. Optional services and advertisements

Google Play Games cloud saves, rewarded ads and interstitial ads are planned for release; they are not yet enabled in the current development build. References to those features apply when they are available in your installed version.

A rewarded ad offer should identify its in-game reward before you choose to watch it. Reward availability depends on the offer and a successful completion confirmation. Interstitial ads, when enabled, may appear at suitable breaks. Ad availability can vary by region, connectivity, age and provider requirements.

Advertising and online services must respect the age and privacy controls described in our privacy policy. Third-party services are also governed by their applicable terms, including Google's Terms of Service.

5. In-game items and currency

Items, skills, equipment, rewards and currency represent progress within the game. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed with us for money or transferred as ownership of real-world property. Their availability and gameplay effects may change as we correct errors or update the game, subject to applicable consumer rights.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the game or its optional services to break the law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malware, gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems, or interfere with the security or operation of services. Do not redistribute the game or its assets without permission from the relevant rights holder.

These restrictions do not prevent activities protected by applicable law, such as permitted accessibility, interoperability or security research. Please report suspected security issues privately using the contact address below.

7. Intellectual property

The game, code, story, artwork, music and other materials are owned by us or their respective rights holders and are used under the applicable licenses. Third-party trademarks and materials remain the property of their owners. Nothing in these terms grants rights beyond those expressly provided or available under applicable law.

8. Privacy and support

Our Privacy Policy explains local gameplay records, optional Google services, planned advertising, support communications and privacy choices. The game does not ask you to share your Google account password with us.

For support, describe the problem, your game version and device model if relevant. Do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information, especially information identifying a child.

9. Updates and availability

We may provide updates to fix errors, improve compatibility or add content. The first release focuses on Chapter I, Act 1; future acts, features and release dates are not guaranteed. An update may require a supported device, available storage or a newer operating system.

Online features can be interrupted by maintenance, network problems or third-party changes. If we discontinue an online feature, we will provide notice where reasonably practicable and honor any requirements imposed by applicable law.

We may revise these terms and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels where required. Any additional acceptance required by law will be obtained; changes do not remove rights that already arose under applicable law.

10. Reliability and your legal rights

We aim to provide a working game, but software and third-party services can contain errors. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or recovery of every save. These statements apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory warranties, statutory remedies, privacy rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable consumer protections and legally available remedies remain in force. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim in a competent court.
